UNUBIKO FOUNDATION DONATES 100 BAGS OF RICE, NOODLES TO NUJ ABIA STATE CHAPTER

Founder/CEO of UNUBIKO FOUNDATION, Mr. James Ume on Monday donated 100 bags of rice and 200 cartoons of noodles as palliative items to the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) Abia State Chapter, at the NUJ press centre Umuahia.

The Foundation’s Programme Director, Mr. Benji Isani while presenting the items to the Chairman NUJ Abia State Chapter, Comrade John Emejor, said the palliative items are meant to bring scuccor to the union’s members at this time of total lockdown in the state because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Speaking while handing over the palliative items to the executives of the State NUJ, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr. A.C.B. Agbazuere said the gesture which is courtesy of their colleague and a son of the state is way of appreciating the members of the Union for their dogged effort during this period of Coronavirus pandemic.

Dr. Agbazuere also urged them to ensure they remain objective in their news reportage and ensure that the items get to all their members across the state without quarrel.

The State NUJ Chairman, Comrade while appreciating the Founder/CEO of UNUBIKO FOUNDATION, James Ume commended him for his philanthropic gesture to them, also described the Chief of Staff to the Staff to the Governor, Dr. Agbazuere as a force to reckon with.

Also recall that over the weekend the Foundation donated 100 bags of rice and 300 cartoons of noodles to the National Union of Journalists (NUJ), FCT- Abuja, Chapter.

The Chairman, NUJ Abuja chapter, Mr. Emmanuel Ogbeche alongside his executives received the palliative items from the representatives of UNUBIKO FOUNDATION.
