INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF NIGER DELTA IPND
CALL FOR THE ABOLITION OF THE LAND USE ACT
A PEOPLE BALKANIZED AND CONSCRIPTED INTO SLAVERY BY THE 1999 FRAUDULENT MILITARY DECREE ADOPTED AS A CONSTITUTION AND IMPOSED ON THE NIGER DELTA INDIGENOUS PEOPLE, CONTAINING THE LAND USE ACT THAT MADE OUR RESOURCES A NATIONAL BOUNTY AND TAKES AWAY EVERY RIGHT TO CLAIM OR BE STAKEHOLDERS IN OUR VERY OWN LANDS AND RESOURCES
What we are saying is we do not vote on our right to self determination: we reject subjecting our right to self determination to a vote of majority in the National Assembly of Nigeria when we are called a Minority by the same System that Benefits only in Voting our Rights away..The pain and destruction of the Niger Delta is the Gain and Joy in Other regions of the country
What was the rationale or source of inspiration In the formation of the land Use Act decree? Was it done with consideration to Equity, justice and Fairness or malicious, pre-planned criminal intent to Exploit, subdue and Marginalize the Indigenous People Of Niger Delta by taking away our rights to lands and resources in essence denying our very existence as a people
A Constitution is meant to guarantee and protect our rights and not to take away our rights, land, resources, culture and heritage
A Constitution is meant to promote together,Unity and stronger cohesion and not Promote disunity
A Constitution is the primary contract or law by which the government of a nation or state is set out and organized, the Indigenous People Of Niger Delta never signed this Contract taking away their rights, lands and resources
A nation is a stable community of people, formed on the basis of a common language, territory, history, ethnicity, or psychological make-up manifested in a common culture. … It is a cultural-political community that has become conscious of its autonomy, unity, and particular interests… “this is not the case in Nigeria..”
Our Representatives are citing that (the North has more numbers in the National Assembly)–and calling it “A game of numbers”.
What matters this much about our very existence cannot be made the outcome of a mere game of numbers. You are called upon to reject it!
The present constitution of Nigeria 🇳🇬 is not a true representation of the entire people of the country . The statement of a true constitution should commence with the sentence “We the people “????????? Of the country and so on.
We are highly disappointed in our Representatives, the political class who give support to the same System designed to drown our existence and resources that have sustained the Nigerian economy for Decades, they uphold and give legality to the partnership by suppressing the Rights and freedom of the Niger Delta People especially politicians who have misplaced Patriotism forgetting they are sitting on the mandate of local citizens, they should be in the front lines to speak out and protest the continued injustice.
