CP JANET AGBADE : THE EVER SMILING FACE OF A GOOD TO GO SERVICEWOMAN:
By Mezie Abia
April 21st, 2020 marked the beginning of new era in Abia, to optimists, it was a day of enlivenment. To those in misery, it was indeed, a day accompanied by a plethora of radiance and intense hope as many breathed a sigh of relief.
How about those whose loved ones were ravished by untimely death, due to sheer recklessness and gross irresponsibility on the side of some trigger happy policemen which resulted to wanton killing of Abia indigenes in cold blood? This class of emotionally shattered Abians got their expectations towards getting justice rejuvenated again.
In fact, it was a date crested indelible in the archive of history; an amazon by name “Janet Agbade” had amidst delight been deployed to Abia as the new C P, she was to succeed C P Ene Okon. What a voyage; a standing ovation to our newest and ever cheerful C P.
“She had, of course, come to right the wrongs if you ask me” this was my statement the very moment we woke up to the prudent news of her divine deployment to our dear State.
C P Janet Agbade is a disciplinarian with enviable track record. Make no mistake; she’s a replete amazon with selfless dream for equality and endless determination for social justice. I admire her ingenuity, her expertize, her dazzling professionalism to say the least.
She’s a bright brain, a resource officer, a manager of humans, and a manager of crisis.
Rejoice oh ye Abia, the best has come to stay with us.
