ABIA DEPUTY GOV. REASSURES ABIANS ON HIS BIRTHDAY

Abia State Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu has reassured Abians of his resolve to maintain and sustain those sterling attributes that has engendered so much goodwill and outpour of love towards him.

Sir Oko Chukwu who gave the assurance during a surprised birthday celebration organized in his honour by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Chief John Okiyi Kalu at his Government House Lodge, Umuahia said he is overwhelmed and lacked words to reciprocate the magnitude of love shown him through their personal calls, messages and prayers and thanked God for granting him the Grace to witness another remarkable birthday.

The Deputy Governor used the forum to appreciate the love, understanding, cooperation and support he has continued to enjoy from his boss and Governor of the State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu who has been elevated to the position of Deputy Chairman of PDP Governor’s Forum which is a great testimony that he is doing well as a good party man and leader in the State and wished him brighter future in all his endeavours.

He further appreciated the Commissioner for Information and Strategy Chief John Okiyi Kalu who led members of the Governor’s Media Aides and the Government House Press Corps to come and identify and celebrate with him and prayed God to reward and bless them abundantly.

In their remarks earlier, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Chief John Okiyi Kalu and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Electronic Media, Chief Ugochukwu Emezue described Sir Oko Chukwu as a charismatic, supportive and resource oriented Deputy Governor with a humble disposition that has endeared him to many and wished him more fruitful years of meritorious service to the State and humanity.

The event which featured special prayers for continued good health of the Deputy Governor as well as cutting of cake by the celebrant attracted the presence of the wife of the Deputy Governor, Lady Vivian Oko Chukwu, members of the State Executive Council, top Govt Officials and other personalities.
