The House agreed as follows:

1. That the forum is pleased with the performance of our brother and Governor, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu PhD; hence our unanimous resolve to continue to support him.

2. That in due deference to the subsisting Charter of Equity, it is only fair that the Old Aba Zone should be supported to produce the next Governor of Abia State in 2023. This is also with regard to the fact that our brothers from Old Bende enjoyed 16 uninterrupted years on the seat.

3. That our long standing ties with Ndi Ukwa will continue to be encouraged and sustained. Consequently, issues of mutual benefit will continue to be of utmost consideration.

4. That we appreciate the harmonious relationship and sustained synergy, with the Umuahia / Ikwuano Federal Constituency, hence we resolved to consolidate that trend.

5. That Ndi Ngwa will continue to sustain the existing bridges of peace and healthy collaboration with Old Bende in order to further broaden the existing frontiers of progress and harmony in Abia State.

6. That Ndi Abia must remain resolute, united and indivisible on issues of common interest. The “Onye aha Nwanne ya” should be sustained.

7. That Ndi Ngwa should, going forward, make deliberate efforts to extricate self from undue stranglehold, from extraneous forces, by reclaiming her pride of place in the leadership of her key socio-economic heritage as a precursor to future political and economic consolidation.

Signed:

Chief Sir Uzo Ihuka – President.

Chief Chibuike Godwin Onyendilefu – General Secretary
